“My wife and I purchased two of these books for our twin granddaughters, and we have been very pleased with the experience. The books arrived promptly. We placed our order on 4th May and received them within a week, despite not selecting the expedited shipping option. They arrived in a simple brown postal package. Whilst there did not appear to be a gift-wrapping option, this was not something we would have chosen in any case. The books themselves are slim paperbacks, containing 20 story pages and 20 accompanying colouring pages, arranged across double-page spreads. The paper quality is excellent, and I was impressed by the overall presentation. They feel like thoughtfully produced, high-quality products rather than novelty items. We had previewed the story before purchasing, and the finished books matched our expectations perfectly. Whilst we had already seen some of the illustrations, many were new to us, and I must say they were remarkably well done. The characters closely resembled the photographs we had uploaded, and even the proportions and apparent ages of the children seemed accurate. Quite how this is achieved from a handful of photographs is beyond me, but the results were impressive. Most importantly, our granddaughters' reaction was wonderful. They immediately recognised themselves and the friends we had included in the story. They began colouring the books the very same day and, whilst they completed some pages straight away, it took them the better part of a week to finish the entire book. Their mother tells us that the books are now kept beside their beds and are regularly read at bedtime. The story itself is simple and engaging, and at seven years old the girls are able to read most of it independently, requiring only occasional assistance. I would happily recommend these books to other grandparents or parents looking for a unique and personal gift. In my view, they represent very good value for money and deliver exactly what they promise. Should additional story options become available in the future, we would certainly consider purchasing again, perhaps for Christmas. A seasonal or festive edition would be particularly appealing.”
